As reported earlier, Xiaomi has launched the Mi MIX Alpha smartphone in home country alongside the Mi 9 Pro 5G. The Mi MIX Alpha is a world’s first smartphone to come with 108MP camera. Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha Specifications
The all-new Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha comes with a wraparound surround display. The top and bottom frame of the phone is made of the aerospace-grade titanium alloy. The rear side of the Mi MIX Alpha has an entire protective cover for the camera area uses a single piece of sapphire glass, embedded in ceramic.
There are no volume buttons on the phone and you have pressure-sensitive virtual buttons on the side of device. Xiaomi has added AI for accidental touch detection to prevent the mis-touch.
Under the hood, it fuels Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC along with Qualcomm X50 modem for 5G support. The chipset is aided by 12 GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 512 GB UFS 3.0 storage. It also packs a 4050 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
For photography, Mi MIX Alpha boasts a 108 MP 1/1.33-inch Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX image sensor that utilizes Tetracell technology allowing the sensor to imitate big-pixel sensors, producing brighter 27 MP images and even comes with supports four-in-one Super Pixel to produce large 1.6μm pixels under low-light conditions.
Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha Price and Availability
Coming to the pricing, the Mi MIX Alpha is priced at RMB 19,999 (approx. Rs 200,800) in China. It will go on sale in the home market in December. As of now, there is no confirmation from the company on the India launch of the Mi MIX Alpha smartphone.
