According to a Weibo post by tipster Panda is Bald, Vivo is expected to host a launch event on March 26, 27, or 28 to introduce the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Notably, this launch schedule would bring the new generation foldable phones to market a month earlier than the Vivo X Fold 2, which debuted in April last year.
Meanwhile, another Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, shared alleged renders of the Vivo X Fold 3, showcasing the device in striking black and white variants. Claimed to be the lightest and thinnest foldable smartphone yet, the Vivo X Fold 3 is anticipated to make a significant impact in the market.
Specifications for the Vivo X Fold 3 suggest a 6.53-inch LTPO cover display with a resolution of 1,172×2,748 pixels. Additionally, it may feature an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 LTPO AMOLED inner display with a resolution of 2,200×2,480 pixels and an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
