Ahead of its highly anticipated launch in India, the design of the Samsung Galaxy M35 has been leaked by a tipster, offering a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. The handset is rumored to arrive in three color options and bears a close resemblance to another Galaxy A series smartphone released earlier this year.
The latest leak reveals that the Galaxy M35 will feature a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup. The smartphone is also expected to run on Android 14 out-of-the-box, aligning with the software on other recently launched Samsung handsets.
Renowned tipster Evan Blass, known on X (formerly Twitter) as @evleaks, unveiled the design and color options of the Samsung Galaxy M35 through a series of posts. The leaked images showcase the handset in grey, light blue, and dark blue. Although these are not high-resolution GIFs, they provide a clear view of the phone from multiple angles, including the display, rear panel, and buttons.
The Galaxy M35’s rear camera setup is positioned at the top left corner, accompanied by an LED flash, all housed within what appears to be a plastic back. Additionally, the device is shown to have a hole-punch selfie camera cutout, a departure from its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 5G, which featured a waterdrop-style notch. The leaked images also indicate that the handset will have thick bezels on all four edges.
Interestingly, the Galaxy M35 bears a strong resemblance to the Galaxy A35, which was launched in India in March. Key differences include the absence of a ‘key island’ for the volume and power buttons on the M35 and the relocation of the SIM tray to the left spine of the device, compared to the top placement on the Galaxy A35.
While Samsung has yet to officially disclose the specifications of the Galaxy M35, the tipster suggests that it will be equipped with a substantial 6,000mAh battery, surpassing the 5,000mAh battery found in the Galaxy A35. A recent report also indicates that the new M-series phone will feature a 6.6-inch display and run on an Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM.
As the launch date approaches, more details about the Samsung Galaxy M35 are expected to emerge. Fans and potential buyers can look forward to learning more about this promising addition to Samsung’s lineup in the coming days or weeks.
