Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G is set to make its debut in India next month, succeeding last year’s Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G. Ahead of its official launch, the Chinese tech company has released several teasers showcasing the design of the upcoming Narzo series smartphone. Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will feature a flat display with slim bezels, as revealed in the teasers. The display will sport a hole-punch design to accommodate the selfie camera.
The smartphone’s power button and volume rockers are positioned along the right edge. The rear design appears to feature a circular camera island reminiscent of its predecessor. Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will come with significantly fewer pre-installed apps, reportedly about “65 percent” less, according to Realme. The smartphone is confirmed to house a primary rear sensor from Sony, specifically the 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor. Realme asserts that the device will offer the best camera performance in the sub-Rs. 20,000 price segment. Amazon has also teased the upcoming Narzo device on its website. Speculations suggest that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G could be a rebranded version of the Realme 12+ 5G and might be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 SoC.
However, it is anticipated to bring notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G. Recalling the launch of the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G in July last year, the smartphone was priced starting at Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It boasted a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset.
The device featured a dual rear camera setup, including a 100-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2-megapixel sensor. It also sported a 16-megapixel selfie camera and was backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
