Razer is slowly and steadily making a name for itself in the gaming industry. Earlier this year, the company launched Elgato HD60 S for capture card dominance with Razer Ripsaw HD capture card and then recently, the company finally took the wraps off of its gaming Ultrabook. Last month, Razer unveiled its vibrating Nari Ultimate headset specifically designed for Xbox One following which the company announced its Razer Seiren Emote Microphone, designed exclusively for streamers. Then recently, Razer launched the RGB-ridden 27-inch gaming monitor, Raptor 27 which was followed by the launch of Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds. And now, as its latest offering, Razer has unveiled Basilisk Ultimate and Basilisk X HyperSpeed gaming mice.
Razer Basilisk Ultimate which is the much advanced of the two models features a Focus+ 20K DPI Optical Sensor and equipped with RGB lighting which can be customized using Razer Chroma Studio software. The expected battery life is around 100 hours (without lighting). It is priced at $149. Other features include:
- on-the-fly sensitivity adjustments,
- hybrid on-board and cloud storage for multiple profiles,
- wired and wireless usage modes and 11 programmable buttons
Coming onto the Basilisk X HyperSpeed which costs only $59 is a budget-friendly gaming mice equipped with a 16K DPI 5G advanced optical sensor. It also features the HyperSpeed wireless technology with an expected battery life of around 450 hours over Bluetooth with a single AA battery. Other features include:
- six programmable buttons,
- on-board DPI storage,
- dual-mode wireless (2.4GHz and BLE) and
- on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment.
