The launch of the OnePlus 12 featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC occurred in December of the previous year, but recent leaks hint at its successor, the OnePlus 13. A Chinese tipster has recently shared what appears to be a render of the device, showcasing a redesigned rear panel. The alleged render indicates a triple rear camera setup branded by Hasselblad, accompanied by a flash. Anticipated to debut by the year-end, the OnePlus 13 is expected to integrate the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.
The render, shared by Weibo user Fixed Focus Digital, exhibits a significant overhaul in the camera module design, featuring a square-shaped layout with rounded corners and a prominent Hasselblad emblem. This represents a departure from the circular camera island observed in the OnePlus 12 model.
Earlier this March, a preliminary render of the OnePlus 13 surfaced, presenting a distinct white variant with a redesigned camera setup arranged vertically.
Rumors suggest OnePlus is experimenting with a 6.8-inch micro-curved LTPO display boasting a 2K resolution for the OnePlus 13. Additionally, it may house an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and could be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, purportedly equipped with a periscope telephoto camera.
The anticipated official debut of the OnePlus 13 is slated for the year’s end. The OnePlus 12 made its entry into the Indian market in January, sporting a base price of Rs. 64,999 for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Featuring a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
