OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 12R alongside its flagship OnePlus 12 in India back in January, offering consumers a choice between two RAM and storage configurations. Now, the company has unveiled a new storage variant of the device. The OnePlus 12R is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and houses a sizable 5,000mAh battery with SuperVOOC charging support. It boasts a triple rear camera setup and runs on an Android 14-based user interface. Additionally, OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition in February.
In terms of pricing and availability, the OnePlus 12R is now accessible in India with a fresh 8GB + 256GB option, priced at Rs. 42,999, set to be available for purchase starting March 21 at 12pm IST. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, available solely in Electro Violet shade with a 16GB + 256GB configuration, is priced at Rs. 49,999.
Featuring a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, the OnePlus 12R is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It operates on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 12R boasts a versatile triple rear camera system, comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, it houses a 16-megapixel front camera.
Equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery and 100W SuperVOOC wired charging support, the OnePlus 12R offers a comprehensive range of connectivity options including 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.
