Chinese Tech Giant Xiaomi is now working on the Mi band five that will come up with support for the NFC (Near Field Communications) both inside and outside of the domestic market. Previously, the company revealed the Mi Band 4 in China, which came with the microphone and NFC support. For the markets outside China, the features were missing, according to the report.
It has already been confirmed that the Mi Band 5 that was being developed in collaboration with the Huami.
Previously the CEO of Huami, Wang Huang, revealed that his company was co-working on the multiple projects in a partnership with the Xiaomi.
Mi Band 4 specifications
To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 sports with a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen color display that comes with the resolution of 240X120 pixels.
It comes packed with the 135mAh battery, which offers around 115 days on a single charge on NFC and around 20 days on the standard model.
Under the hood, there is a six-axis accelerometer that is touted to help monitor the physical activities, which include swimming, walking, running, cycling, and exercise. The device is 5 ATM rated and is designed to identify the various, namely freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, mixed style, swimming strokes, and breaststroke. Also, it provides, with the Swolf score to help the users to determine their swimming skills.
