LG has quietly launched the LG G8s ThinQ in India. The smartphone was first unveiled at the MWC 2019 earlier this year. It touts a FullVision FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 855 along with a new triple camera setup. It is launched with a price of Rs 36,990 and will be available starting September 29.

LG G8s ThinQ brings a 6.2-inch FullVision FHD+ OLED screen with a notch. The LG G8s ThinQ features a triple camera setup on the back and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Powering the LG G8s ThinQ is an octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone supports storage expand-ability via microSD card (up to 2TB).
The triple camera setup on the back includes a 12-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel 137˚ super wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. It also offers enhanced security with Hand ID and Face Unlock. Hand ID uses the Z Camera’s ability to scan a user’s unique circulatory pattern using infrared light making unlocking the phone in the dark just as accurate as during the day.
The LG G8s ThinQ houses a 3,550mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and runs on Android 9 Pie operating system.
The phone also comes with stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and DAC, 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass back. The handset is also MIL-STD 810G compliance and IP68 water and dust resistance.
Connectivity options
Connectivity options on the handset include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible). It measures 155.3 x 76.6 x 7.99mm and weighs 181grams.
