Reliance Jio has announced an increase in prices for select daily, monthly, and annual prepaid and postpaid recharge plans. The company has also restricted the 5G unlimited data facility to customers with plans offering 2GB of data per day or more. These changes, along with a new series of unlimited plans, will come into effect on July 3. The new tariff plans start at Rs. 189 and go up to Rs. 3,599. The base plan provides 2GB of daily data for 28 days, while the highest plan offers 2.5GB of daily data for 365 days.
Despite the price hikes, the benefits of Reliance Jio’s prepaid and postpaid plans remain unchanged. The updated plans, effective from July 3, include a revised premium annual recharge plan priced at Rs. 3,599, up from Rs. 2,999, which continues to offer 2.5GB of daily data for 365 days.
The monthly recharge plan priced at Rs. 155 with 2GB of data per day will now cost Rs. 189. Five other monthly prepaid plans have also been revised. The two-month recharge plan previously priced at Rs. 479 will now be Rs. 579, maintaining the same 1.5GB of daily data for 56 days. The affordable three-month plan has increased from Rs. 395 to Rs. 479, with a total data benefit of 6GB. The popular Rs. 666 plan with 84-day validity is now priced at Rs. 799.
The cost of the 1GB data add-on pack has risen from Rs. 15 to Rs. 19. The Rs. 25 and Rs. 61 plans are now priced at Rs. 29 and Rs. 69, respectively. The postpaid Rs. 299 plan with 30GB of data is now Rs. 349 for the billing cycle, while the Rs. 399 plan with 75GB of data is now Rs. 449.
Several other Jio unlimited plans with validity periods of 28 days, 56 days, 84 days, and 336 days have also seen price increases. These plans continue to offer unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. Below is a summary of the revised recharge plan prices:
