Huawei has now finally revealed the new Mate 30 Series at an event in Germany. The new series smartphone revealed in both the 4G/5G model and features a circular rear camera setup that is based on the company ‘Halo Ring Design’ – along with the Leica optics.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro sports with a 6.53-inch FLEX OLED display with the 2K+ resolution. It has a waterfall screen with the 18.4:9 aspect ratio of the screen, 88 degrees curved design, an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, there is a Kirin 990coupled with the RAM of 8GB and 256GB internal storage. On the software part, the smartphone runs on the Android ten based EMUI.
It packs a 4,500mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge 40W wired and Wireless Huawei SuperCharge 27W charging. Furthermore, the device also comes equipped with a new reverse charging technology, allowing 15W charging.
Upfront, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The camera features on the phone include ultra-low-light video, ultra-slow-motion video at 7680 fps, real-time cinematic bokeh, Huawei AIS for ultra-stable recording, and 4K HDR+ time-lapse. The 7680-fps video is eight times slower than 960fps.
There is also a 5G variant of the Mate 30 Pro which has two difference compared to the 4G version. The Mate 30 Pro 5G variant packs Kirin 990 5G SoC, and it has a Dual SIM 5G support.

The Mate 30 Pro is priced at €1,099 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It comes in two different finishes and Space Silver, Emerald Green, Cosmic Purple, and Black color options.
